Giving Back

The Myrtle V. Hunter O.E.S. Scholarship Committee is proud to serve our community beyond scholarship support. Most recently, we volunteered with Austin House Ministries (AHM), a Houston-based nonprofit dedicated to feeding and uplifting the homeless. AHM provides hot, home-cooked meals and cold bottled water every Saturday to those living in tents, cars, or on the streets—always offering not just nourishment, but compassion and connection.

We’re honored to partner with organizations like AHM as we continue Myrtle V. Hunter’s legacy of service, support, and love for the community. If you’re looking for a meaningful way to give back, we encourage you to join the mission and volunteer with Austin House Ministries.
